Carole's Gardening Tips
On this page we will list many of the plants that we are growing this year.  We'll include some information about each plant and try to indicate when a plant is sold out. 
 
Many of our plants are grown from seed.  Sometimes the germination rate is poor and we are only able to offer a few of the following plants.

Australian foliage plant.
Gray fuzzy leaves quickly grow

A bold looking plant with large jagged
leaves up to 3' long.
The blanched leaves and stalks are edible.

make a dramatic garden accent.
Small flowers arrive the second year if grown as a biennial.

The trumpet-shaped petals are ruby velvet incolor.
Many branched stems produce flowers which bloom until frost.
Slight fragrance.  Self sows.

Giant dahlia-flowered bloom of magenta-rose.
The plants are heavy bloomers all summer.
Good for the cutting garden.

Bergamo
Blooms the first year, so can be grown as an annual.
The tight multi-branched plant is topped with lavender and magenta-purple
stalks.  Strong mildew tolerance and early flowering.
Butterflies and hummingbirds are attracted to this bee blam.
